Many people have asked me why I chose to pursue real estate after a lot of years in healthcare. For those who know me, they know I spent almost 15 years as an Administrator in long-term care. During the COVID years, I came back home locally and work in healthcare closer to my hometown; but I still have a love and a passion for seniors and the unique challenges that aging and downsizing represents.
I have a unique vision for how to help with these challenges and it's exactly what's needed in this type of market. Therefore, my goal is to grow my business over time to meet a niche with vast knowledge for the following populations:
-- Elders place in care and their children are required to figure out how to deal with their assets;
-- Others are early seniors who are downsizing after kids are gone and they no longer need the space;
-- Estates that have to liquidate real estate to settle probate;
-- Divorce later in life (happens a lot more than people realize);
-- OR relocation in retirement.
I helped my parents through a serious transition during the COVID pandemic, and found my passion in it. If you are in this situation, give me a call. I'm happy to meet and just talk. It doesn't cost a thing to just talk about this very unsettling time.
